How You Can Help
There are many ways you can get involved, including:
• Y-NOW Mentoring
Serve as a mentor and positive role model for young people with incarcerated parents.

• Street Outreach
Ride along with our Street Outreach team to educate homeless teens and young adults about the help available to them at YMCA Safe Place Services.
• Matt Kubanzik Youth Development Center
Engage with 16-22 year olds who are homeless or at-risk of becoming homeless. A variety of positions are available.
• Safe Place Pick-Up Volunteer
Transport youth who have sought assistance at a Safe Place site to our Shelter House Program at 2400 Crittenden Drive.
• Board of Directors
Serve as an ambassador for YMCA Safe Place Services, lead fundraising efforts and become an advocate for the impact we make on children and families in our community.
• Board Committees
Assist in financial development, board development and help find new ways to increase community awareness of our mission and services.
• Special Events
Volunteer for various fundraising events, including the Turf Classic, Together4Teens Breakfast and Community Luncheons.
• Group Projects
Groups from 5 to 25 members assist with facility maintenance and property improvement projects.
